Sweden’s finest purveyors of high-octane rock'n'roll, Royal Republic, are back with a thunderous cover of Shocking Blue’s 'Venus'.

This is episode one of a four-part musical saga, featuring four iconic Disco-Classics re-imagined.

Each video will unveil a new chapter in the story of 'The Blastbeaters' - A fictional Black Metal band on a quest for world domination.

Fans of Royal Republic have come to expect the unexpected, but they never expected something THIS unexpected! 'The Blastbeaters' are essentially Royal Republic in complete Black Metal attire, with a bad-ass Volvo 140 and severely questionable decision-making skills.

Will the Blastbeaters catch a break, before it breaks them?

Expect riffs. Expect chaos. Expect the unexpected.

Hail Satan!
