Where else would you get a blockbusting actor and heartthrob to millions, the American king of Shock Rock and the guitarist of the impossibly cool Aerosmith all on stage together?
The band were sounding great tonight. Maiden does not let a crowd down, ever. The guitars in particular were on fire, building the drama in songs like ‘The Trooper’.
This could have been a great show; however, the extended solo spots totally spoilt the momentum and flow. Twelve original songs and they were on stage for an hour and three quarters – do the math!
