"It's probably one of my Top 10 favourite songs..."

Lets Dive Deeper!

"A classic hard rock band from Bradford, Baby Tuckoo - a name lifted from the opening line of James Joyce's 1916 classic 'A Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Man' - were active through most of the 80s, releasing two albums in the process. Fronted by the incendiary, Blues-drenched roar of Rob Armitage (who later had brief dalliances with Accept, Jagged Edge and Passion), they were the very definition of the band who really should have gone on to bigger and better things. This track, the opening salvo from 1986's 'Force Majeure' album is one of those rousing, unforgettable anthems that fuse together the best of bands like Bad Company and Whitesnake. It's probably one of my Top 10 favourite songs of all time (it still gets aired regularly), and every time I hear it I'm transported back to when I first heard it... that voice does it every single time!"
