"the song itself is quirky and fun,"

Lets Dive Deeper!

"This is one of those strange songs that has always haunted me wherever I go! I have absolutely no idea where or when I first heard it, although it provokes a memory of being at college, so I'm hazarding a guess it was around that period of my life. OOALH was probably my first adventure that I can recall into Prog Rock. The song itself is quirky and fun, and it was Jon Anderson's voice that drew me in, along with the nifty musical arrangements. The story is that the song kinda came about when Trevor Rabin went to the toilet (I've often had my best thoughts on the can as well!) and underwent numerous rewrites, musical changes, and this and that thrown at it as well, but in the end, it's a bloody good song, and that's all that matters!"
