Lets Dive Deeper!

Hailing from America in the early 1980s, Tesla were one of those groups that I developed a love/hate relationship with over the first half of their life in the spotlight (they split up for a few years around 96). Unfairly labelled as a Glam Metal band (something that pissed them off non-stop by all accounts) they shared the stage with some pretty decent names such as Alice Cooper and David Lee Roth, not too shabby!

Amongst their more harder sounding songs, this power ballad always stood out to me. A lovely tune, with some superb guitar work, and Jeff Keith’s raspy vocals offering a contrast to the smooth sound worked well. The American public agreed and it cracked the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

This song is one that brings a smile to my face when I hear it on the radio, or YouTube. I absolutely love it, and as time has gone on, I have come to appreciate Tesla a lot more then my younger days.
