"As with most people, the joy of music is discovering bands that had escaped your radar the first time around. Delian certainly fell into that category for me. I didn’t become aware of them until 2020’s ‘Apocalypse & Chill’, which I thought was superb, then I delved back and came across ‘The Human Contradiction’, which was released just over a decade ago.

Straight from the opening song, ‘Here Come The Vultures’, which just blew my mind, I was smitten and it still rates as one of the best Symphonic Metal albums and song I have ever heard. What a voice and delivery by Charlotte Wessels, she elevates an already sensational and well written song to an even more stratospheric level!

I’m a massive Delain fan now, and with new singer Diana Leah proving to be another force to be reckoned with, I hope for many more ‘Vulture’ moments."
