"Pounding riffs and keyboard laced melodies abound"

Lets Dive Deeper!
"One of three Europeans bands I really started to get into when my Kerrang!-fueled appetite for Rock and Metal began to take off in the early 80s (TNT I've already showcased a few months ago and we'll get to Heavy Load in due course), I first discovered the delights of Pretty Maids in my second year at college when an increasingly regular visit to one of my local vinyl emporiums seemed infinitely more preferable to an afternoon of double maths! Anyway, leafing through the import racks I chanced upon an interesting looking six tracker (the scantily clad young lady wrapped around a Flying V was incidental... honest!) by a band I'd never heard of before.
Anyway, having duly parted company with my fiver, I nursed it home on the bus, eagerly anticipating what would happen when needle hit groove. To cut a long story short, I played the damn thing to death over the next few weeks and a forty plus year love affair with Denmark's finest was born.
Over the course of a dozen or more albums they've rarely disappointed and produced a cornucopia of great tracks, but if I had to choose one that summed them up in around five minutes, this, the title track from their sophomore album, would be the one I'd invariably pick. Pounding riffs and keyboard laced melodies abound throughout this glorious romp and it remains as fresh and vibrant now as it did when I first heard it! An unforgettable classic!"
