"Brash, infectious and with an earworm of a hook to die for"

Dave

Lets Dive Deeper!

"One of a triumvirate of Scandinavian bands I 'discovered' in the early 80s - the other two being Pretty Maids and Heavy Load - TNT were a seductive distraction to the increasingly bland (and at times quite banal) NWOBHM diet I was beginning to tire of. Although my introduction proper came via the preceding (and excellent) 'Knights Of The New Thunder' album, it was 'Tell No Tales' and this gloriously infectious track that cemented my love for the band. Brash, infectious and with an earworm of a hook to die for, they not only looked and sounded great, but in Tony Harnell and Ronni Le Tekro, they had a vocalist/guitarist pairing that could take on the world! Quite why the accompanying video didn't catapult them into hearts and arenas around the globe has always mystified me, but if ever there was a rare 'lightening in a bottle' moment, this was it!"
