Alice Cooper has announced special guest hosts who will join him on stage for each date of his intimate Devil on my Shoulder UK book tour this October. Building on over sixty years of rock folklore, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be joined in conversation by three distinct voices from the worlds of rock, radio and music journalism - each bringing their own unique connection to one of music’s most extraordinary lives.

I was more than excited to be offered this review, but my excitement was tinged with anxiety and apprehension. With The Alice Cooper Band back together for the first time in fifty years it was a dream, but could it become a nightmare?

I must admit that this was the first time I had ever attended something like this. I had actually hoped that I would be covering the following night’s concert with Judas Priest at the O2, and incorporate the two together, but that didn’t come off, so this may seem a little strange. Still, I regarded it as a historic night.

The original Alice Cooper Group – its surviving members Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, and Neal Smith – have reunited to release their first album in over 50 years, ‘The Revenge of Alice Cooper’. With Bob Ezrin joining the band as producer in an old-school Connecticut studio, rekindling the magic from the 70s, this is truly a full-circle moment for the legendary band, and earMUSIC is especially proud to present this historic masterpiece.
