The Swedish power metal band VANDOR returns with their much anticipated third album ‘The Ember Eye part 2: The Portal of Truth’!

Known for their story driven songs such as ‘Beneath the Sky’ & ‘Fate of Eltoria’ VANDOR finally goes all in with an exciting concept album with exciting twists and turns, it even includes an instrumental boss-battle!

Those who saw VANDOR on their successful Swedish and Norwegian concert dates were fortunate to hear them debut some of the songs featured on this album a full year in advance, like bands of the past used to try their songs on stage before entering the studio.

After VANDOR released their debut LP ‘In the Land of Vandor’ in 2019 the band toured the album on festivals and some of Sweden's most well-known clubs and bands, among them Sonata Arctica. The hit single ‘Well of Salvation’ was released during this time as well and further boosted and cemented VANDOR as a power metal machine!

As VANDOR were gearing up for the next phase disaster struck the world with a pandemic, the energetic gigs were now out of the question during lockdowns and the band headed back to the studio to record the sophomore album ‘On a Moonlit Night’ in 2021 which got perfect scores from several power metal bloggers and high praise for VANDOR’s mix with modern and classic power metal.

Outside of VANDOR brothers Vide & Alve Bjerde became viral with their power metal cover of Sweden's Eurovision song and got to play before nearly half a million people on Sweden's biggest music show. Debuting hard and heavy rock music on that show and setting the bar unreachably high!

The other members have their own merits with having recorded and shared stage with Hammerfall, Fabio Lione (Rhapsody), UDO, Tommy Johansson (Majestica, Sabaton) to name a few.
