For Record Store Day, 18 April 2026, the current Tangerine Dream band line-up of Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane & Paul Frick return with ‘Night Trains & Cityscapes’ [IH97T] an exclusive clear vinyl 12” single featuring new versions of some of their finest contributions to the world of scores.

Side 1 features two tracks from Grand Theft Auto V, one of the best selling video games of all time: ‘Happy Ending’ and ‘Los Santos City Map’.

Side 2 features a new 2026 recording of ‘Love On A Real Train’, Tangerine Dream’s best-known track, from 1983 box office smash Risky Business starring Tom Cruise.

Mastered at Abbey Road by legendary cutting ace Miles Showell and pressed at Optimal in Germany, the EP is presented in a stylish single jacket by Invisible Hands Music.

Electro pioneers Tangerine Dream had a dozen top 20 albums on both sides of the Atlantic in the 1970s, as well as scoring some of Hollywood’s biggest movies including Firestarter (1984) and Near Dark (1987).
