THE REVIEW
The Hu have never sounded interested in following anyone else's rulebook, and Hun only strengthens that identity. Rather than softening their distinctive blend of Mongolian throat singing, traditional instrumentation and modern metal, the band sharpen every element into something bigger, bolder and more confident. Towering rhythms, cinematic melodies and irresistible grooves make this their most complete album yet. Whether they're delivering battle-ready anthems or more reflective moments, every song carries a sense of pride, purpose and authenticity that few bands can match.
THE SONGS
"Warrior Chant" opens proceedings with tribal energy and immediately throws you into The Hu's world. "Lost Soul" cleverly broadens the band's sound with a guest appearance from Jonny Hawkins without sacrificing their identity, while the thunderous "Horsemen" gallops along with unstoppable momentum and stands as one of the album's defining moments. "Echoes Of My Father" offers an emotional counterpoint with its rich atmosphere, "Universe" steadily builds into an epic finale, and "Second Face" closes the album on a defiant high that lingers long after the final note.
