Released via Rocktopia Records, a brainchild of melodic rock moguls Bruce Mee and Kieran Dargan, and recorded by musicians who gained their experience in bands such as Pride, Vaughn, and Eden's Curse, There's A Storm Coming is one of those debuts you simply shouldn't miss.
In Faith are a UK-based melodic rock band with a hint of AOR and an ear for awesome music. Tony Marshall brings his guitar work from Contagious and Vaughn, Pete Newdeck, of Eden's Curse and Tainted Nation, handles drums and production, while Pete Godfrey, who was originally a bassist performing with numerous local bands, stepped up to reveal himself as a genuinely remarkable lead vocalist.
This is an impressive slice of classic British AOR, following in the traditions of Dare, Ten, and Newman. It has a distinct '80s feel without being dated, delivering a mix of feel-good rockers, heartfelt ballads, and those all-important AOR anthems. Think classic Harem Scarem, throw in some Tyketto and H.E.A.T, and you'll get a good idea of what's going on here.
As Fireworks Rock & Metal Magazine put it at the time: "the best British melodic rock debut in almost twenty years."
