The Flower Kings release new album LOVE and share new video for “We Claim The Moon”

Five men pose in casual and formal attire against a dark, striped backdrop. They exude a relaxed, confident vibe, with instruments nearby.

Today, the iconic prog rock band The Flower Kings unveils their 17th studio album, LOVE. With a remarkable discography spanning 17 studio albums, numerous live recordings, and global festival performances over their 30-year career, their impact on the progressive rock genre is undeniable and continues to grow.

The album features the original trio—Roine Stolt, Hasse Fröberg, and Michael Stolt—alongside newer members Mirko DeMaio and Lalle Larsson. Together, they’ve crafted a record that captures the spirit of late 60s and early 70s progressive rock, a period marked by a break from mainstream hit singles in favor of artistic freedom with influences like Mellotrons, Moogs, phasing, flanging, and grand compositions. The Flower Kings have always excelled in blending pop elements with experimental and jam band styles.

This latest album reveals the band’s renewed sense of confidence, offering progressive rock that is unmatched. Fans can expect a musical journey through the band’s creative universe, featuring more experimental moments, wild guitar riffs, and synth solos, reminiscent of their early work. Clocking in at 75 minutes, the album includes 12 tracks ranging from 3 to 12 minutes, designed for a deep listening experience.
