Norwegian hard rockers STARGAZER return with their brand new single “Breakdown”, an adrenaline-fuelled release that hits like a high-voltage shockwave. Firing off at full throttle, the track delivers an uptempo blast of raw energy driven by massive, muscular riffs and a powerful melodic vocal that cuts straight through the mix. Built to both tear you down and lift you back up again, “Breakdown” surges forward with relentless momentum, combining sheer force with soaring hooks that demand repeat listens. It’s Stargazer at their most electrifying: bold, explosive, and impossible to ignore.

“Breakdown” stands as a natural continuation of the band’s current creative peak at their last album “Stone Cold Creature”, capturing everything that defines Stargazer’s sound: classic hard rock power, modern punch and an undeniable sense of uplift. The song balances aggression and melody with confidence, showcasing the band’s ability to deliver high-impact rock that feels both timeless and urgently alive.

Hailing from Norway’s rich rock tradition, Stargazer have been a powerhouse of melodic hard rock since 2008, steadily refining their sound while staying true to the spirit of the genre’s golden era. With releases such as “Stargazer” (2009), “The Sky Is The Limit” (2019) and “Life Will Never Be The Same” (2023), the band have built an impressive catalogue rooted in soaring vocals, piercing guitar work and hook-laden choruses. Their latest material continues this trajectory, reinforcing Stargazer’s position as one of the most compelling voices in modern hard rock.

Renowned for their dynamic and high-energy live performances, Stargazer have shared stages with legendary acts including Gary Moore, Saxon, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Glenn Hughes, Wig Wam and Magnum, and have appeared at major festivals such as Norway’s Tons of Rock. With the release of “Breakdown”, the band once again prove that classic hard rock, when delivered with conviction, intensity and modern production, remains as powerful and relevant as ever.

“Stone Cold Creature” is out now in LP (black and transparent blue vinyl variants), CD and digital formats, via Mighty Music.
