Legendary rockers Sha-Boom release the video for their infectious new single, “One More Drink for the Road” featuring Linnéa Vikström from Thundermother and Tomas Vikström and Rosalia Sairem from Therion. the track is taken from their highly anticipated new album, Another Nail In The Coffin due for release this Friday, August 28th via Silver Lining Music. Pre-orders are available now at this location.
“One More Drink for the Road” is a feel-good rock ‘n’ roll party anthem driven by swaggering guitars and an unforgettable sing-along chorus. The track captures the spirit of the rock ‘n’ roll adventure: there’s always another night to live, another thrill to chase and another drink to share. It’s a rock ‘n’ roll confession about freedom, living in the moment and making every second count.
🔥 FIREWORKS INSIGHT
Sha-Boom’s latest chapter is rooted firmly in the Swedish rock tradition that has always valued melody, attitude and a good chorus. Their ability to bridge the swagger of ’70s rock with the polished punch of ’80s hard rock has long been central to their appeal, and “One More Drink for the Road” reinforces that identity while widening the circle through its guest vocalists. The involvement of members of Thundermother and Therion also highlights the strength of Sweden’s interconnected rock and metal community. For fans, the bigger question is how Another Nail In The Coffin develops that familiar Sha-Boom formula across a full album.
“‘One More Drink for the Road’ is a real rock ’n’ roll stomper, where the ’70s meet the ’80s, with that patented Sha-Boom sound running right through it” exclaims Dag. “It’s packed with energy, attitude and plenty of rock ’n’ roll humour. It was great to have Tomas Vikström and Rosalia Sairem from Therion, as well as Linnéa Vikström from Thundermother, join us on the track. Tomas and Rosalia also appear in the video, it’s a kick-ass rock song and I can’t wait for people to hear it!

Sha-Boom burst out of Stockholm in 1987 and, within months, were sharing festival bills with Scandinavian hard-rock royalty such as Europe and Treat. Their debut single, the fist-pumping anthem “R.O.C.K.,” shot straight to No. 1 across Sweden and Norway, and the self-titled album that followed confirmed them as one of the era’s defining melodic-rock acts. Now, decades later, Dag Finn - always the driving force behind Sha-Boom - has returned at the helm with renewed energy and purpose, ready to pick up exactly where the band left off.
