Moon Letters are set to return on June 13, 2025 with their third studio album, 'This Dark Earth,' a mesmerising prog-psych odyssey that delves into the catacombs of the mind. The album masterfully weaves personal narratives with fragmented cinematic textures, offering listeners a fusion of blazing riffs, synth-laden wizardry, and bombastic rhythms, all anchored by emotive slow burns crafted to soothe the soul. The lyrics traverse this sonic landscape, confronting personal and collective demons on a hero’s journey through transformation — facing the void, falling apart, and ultimately finding solace after loss.

Michael Trew, the band's vocalist and flautist, shares his excitement: "We're thrilled to be releasing our third album this year! We'll kick it off with a special Seaprog Presents concert in Seattle on June 13th, featuring Julie Slick and Kitsune. In July, we will embark on our first tour in Europe, before returning for some North American dates. We look forward to seeing you out there!"

Formed in Seattle, USA in 2016, Moon Letters have firmly established themselves as a force within the modern prog and psych rock scene. Their debut album, 'Until They Feel the Sun,' produced by the renowned Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters), garnered international acclaim upon its release at the Seaprog Festival in 2019. This propelled Moon Letters to the forefront of the new wave of American progressive rock.

Their sophomore release, 'Thank You From the Future,' produced by Robert Cheek (Band of Horses), arrived in late 2022 and was enthusiastically received by both prog aficionados and critics alike.

In 2023-24, Moon Letters toured extensively across North America, performing at notable events such as Terra Incognita Fest in Quebec City, ProgDay Fest in North Carolina, and Prog on the Ranch in Florida.
