MIKEY BALL & THE COMPANY continue to rise with their new single, Warning Signs, out now. The track is taken from their upcoming album, Keep The Fire Burning, due Thursday 24th September. Rooted in heartland and classic rock, the single delivers strong hooks and heartfelt songwriting, offering a taste of what’s to come.

Listen to the band here.

Recorded three years after their debut album, Through The Night, the new record marks a shift in perspective. Where the band’s early work leaned towards escapism and open-road optimism, the new material turns its attention towards the pressures and frustrations of modern life, while refusing to settle into cynicism. “This album is influenced by honesty in hopeful optimism,” says frontman Mikey Ball. “It acknowledges the frustrations of modern life without allowing them to define the story.” That balance runs through the record, with songs exploring uncertainty, routine and the noise of contemporary living, while returning to themes of resilience, connection and perspective. Warning Signs reflects that approach, combining the band’s melodic rock sound with a more reflective look at the world around them.

🔥 FIREWORKS INSIGHT

Mikey Ball & The Company’s second album finds the band moving beyond the open-road optimism of their debut, Through The Night, towards the more complicated realities of modern life. That shift places Keep The Fire Burning in the tradition of heartland rock’s finest storytellers, where everyday frustrations become fuel for songs about resilience and connection. The three-year gap between albums offers an opportunity to hear a band developing its identity rather than simply repeating a successful formula. For fans of melodic, rootsy rock, ‘Warning Signs’ raises an interesting question: can the band turn its more reflective outlook into a record with the same lasting emotional pull as its debut?

Musically, the band sound more expansive and assured than ever, taking influence from Tom Petty, Thin Lizzy and Bruce Springsteen. Strong guitar interplay, melodic focus and a performance-first approach define the record, capturing the energy and immediacy of their live shows.
