DELAIN - HERE COME THE VULTURES

Pete says, "As with most people, the joy of music is discovering bands that had escaped your radar the first time around. Delian certainly fell into that category for me. I didn’t become aware of them until 2020’s ‘Apocalypse & Chill’, which I thought was superb, then I delved back and came across ‘The Human Contradiction’, which was released just over a decade ago.

Straight from the opening song, ‘Here Come The Vultures’, which just blew my mind, I was smitten and it still rates as one of the best Symphonic Metal albums and song I have ever heard. What a voice and delivery by Charlotte Wessels, she elevates an already sensational and well written song to an even more stratospheric level!

I’m a massive Delain fan now, and with new singer Diana Leah proving to be another force to be reckoned with, I hope for many more ‘Vulture’ moments."
