Dave says: "There are some songs that mark specific moments in your life, others that resonate through a shared experience... then there are those that are so damn catchy and full of joy that you can't help but get pulled into their orbit. For me, 'Summer Of '69' is one of those tracks; as soon as "that" riff kicks in, I'm totally lost in the moment. The standout track on an album literally filled with standout tracks, I was 18 at the time of it's release and I can still vividly remember hearing it for the first time in a licensed hostelry one afternoon when I should have been at college! Quite possibly the song I've played most over the years, it's power never diminishes!"
